obviously i dont live in europe. so european festivals arent very high up the list of dates that are on my calendar, let alone even in my head. this morning i was sort of taken aback that the pumpkins set from rock am ring pumpkins... seeing as it is already june i dont know what i was surprised. june is festival season yah? my friend daryl went to rock am ring this year. he told me this a while ago and of course i was jealous that he got to go a big european festival. im still convinced the idea of being at a festival is better than actually being there.. in the mud.. and rain.. and the line ups for everything.. and the 5 billion people in your way when trying to go anywhere.

now i know personally at least one person who has seen the new tsp line up. sans melissa. sans darcy. sans james. oddly, i was watching an apc video this morning that well, had james in it. as i was watching i was thinking about how half the band is in nine inch nails right now, but nothing about iha crossed my mind. oh well.

to return back to the first paragraph rock am ring, tsp watching friend was already on the list of people i should email, along with about 17 other people from home. when i saw the torrent i thought that would buy a least a week since i know he isnt home. lol.

when tsp did their farewell tour in 2000, they never bothered to come to australia. i wonder what that will mean on their big festival circuit thing this year. prob they will not come to australia. now that ive written that i dont know if id even go. there are quite a few shows coming up that i would go to if it was toronto, but here not so much interest. why? cost. 1000% cost. example: arctic monkeys are $70. fuck that, not worth it, i saw them last year.. and probably paid $70 for it. at home it would be $30.. ish.. ? the fucking promoters here need to GET OVER THEMSELVES.

thats a shitty plan. i wouldnt buy that. the plan i was on before i left toronto was $20 a month and had basically unlimited minutes. it did not have unlimited text though, i suppose that is the way of the future. shitty non sensical messages that read "u shud cum l8r 2dy" or some other garbage sms abbreviations of english. i hate text messaging. its dumbing society down. people are already stupid (and lazy), they dont need more of an excuse to spell incorrectly and write things that can mean something completely different out of context.

phones are for talking. the end. other devices can be used for messaging. qwerty keyboards would even be nice on mini keypads. devices that are not phones. phones are for talking.

myspace sent me a message telling me the new mondo generator album comes out july 17th. umm, was this another record that came out in europe before america? i think that nick oliveri is a big fan of the kinks. maybe ill discuss that at a later time, i have to recall what the name of some oldies song is first.
