oh god i tunred on my desk top for the first time in ages and i cant even type on the keyboard properly..

busy week.

at school this morning for a lab meeting. i wanted to stay to go to the ebbing house seminars but i stupidly told work that i would try and make it in for the afternoon. stupid is me. being in a room with educated people made me appreciate it that much more.

on sunday night i watched finding neverland. i highly recommend it. the kids at the end are so damn cute.

thanksgiving is over. meh. i dont like holidays that center around eating. the day off was great, i actually got the sleep this weekend, not just trying to cram in naps here and there.

monday night my mom and i went to see sir paul at the acc. i sat waiting for tickets to be released for hours. the ones i pulled on friday were too expensive for us. it was a slight comfort to know that the people 4 seats over paid double what we did for teh exact same view.. side stage. 2 hours and 53 minutes-- not bad for a 63 year old.

my grad student leaves on friday which is pretty sad. she id happy to go home (italy) but sad to leave toronto. im hoping to someone work something out for me to continue the study for pay.. but all those damn undergrads and their free labour could be in the way. my highlight left this week is the potential meeting i have with morris on friday afternoon. maybe, if he's not too busy. lol.
